There is an available 6.6L Duramax Turbo-Diesel V8 engine for the new Sierra 3500 HD. This offers 470 horsepower at 2800, 975 lb.-ft. of torque at 1600 rpm, and a maximum towing capacity of up to 36,000 pounds. The 6.6L Duramax engine is available on all trims and standard on the Denali Ultimate.
Exterior
The Sierra 3500 HD is an extra-large pickup with a commanding appearance, thanks to features like 18-inch all-terrain blackwall tires and Chrome bumpers. There’s an available GMC MultiPro Tailgate, which has six different functions to make loading cargo more efficient. This tailgate is available on the PRO base trim and comes standard on the SLE and all higher trims.
