Are you taking the family out for a meal? There’s nothing quite like Italian food to quench a big appetite. At Earnhardt Buick GMC, we love filling up on local Italian cuisine. Just a short drive from Mesa, AZ, these three restaurants serve some of the best pizza pies that you will find anywhere.

Three of the Best Pizza Restaurants in Mesa, AZ

Organ Stop

The Organ Stop is an Italian restaurant with a difference, as it features the Mighty Wurlitzer, an enormous pipe organ that is played for the enjoyment of the diners. We think it makes a great experience for the whole family, as the guest organist plays a series of favorites and even takes requests.

As well as being a destination restaurant, Organ Stop serves some excellent Italian food. You can order 8-inch, 12-inch, and 14-inch pies, as well as a gluten-free option. Pasta dishes, sandwiches, and appetizers are all on offer, and there is a well-stocked salad bar. Organ Stop is popular with tourists, and it’s easy to find at 1149 E Southern Ave.

Vito’s Italian Ristorante

Vito’s is a genuine Italian restaurant that was founded in 1986 by Vito and JoAnne. Staying true to Vito’s Italian roots, all the flour used in their pies comes from Italy, and the cheeses are sourced from Wisconsin and Italy. Vito’s thin-crust creations are delicious, with a fine selection of gourmet toppings.

The restaurant features several different starters, including its tasty coconut shrimp and Italian meatball sliders. Pasta lovers are treated to an excellent choice of main courses – we love the classic lasagna, and they also have lobster ravioli and seafood au gratin. Vito’s has some excellent salads on offer, such as the blackened salmon salad and the warm harvest salad. The restaurant is located at 1947 N Lindsay Rd.

Nello’s

Nello’s is a family-run restaurant with more than 35 years of history. We like the Italian-style hospitality here and the delicious traditional Italian cuisine. The gourmet pie crusts are one of the highlights of the restaurant, with the choice of original Chicago deep dish, thin crust, and a gluten-free option.

Nello’s has some mouthwatering specialty pies, including the Alaskan King and the Skinny, which are available in four sizes to match every appetite. There is a fine selection of salads, too, including dishes such as The Apple Gorgonzola and Old World Classic. Nello’s can be found at 2950 S. Alma School Rd.
