For 2023, GMC offers the Terrain in four trims: SLE, SLT, AT4, and Denali. Starting with the entry-level SLE, exterior features include deep-tinted rear glass, a manual liftgate, 17-inch Silver painted aluminum wheels, LED signature taillights, LED headlights, and heated power outside mirrors. The SLT adds roof-mounted side rails, 18-inch Silver painted aluminum wheels, heated power outside mirrors with integrated turn signal indicators, a hands-free power programmable liftgate, and fog lights. Engine (Power)
No matter which trim you select, it'll be powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission that will put out 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque. The 2023 GMC Terrain also gets excellent fuel economy, garnering an EPA-estimated rating of 24 mpg on city streets and 29 mpg on the highway, giving you more miles between pit stops. To maximize fuel efficiency, the Terrain adds an automatic start/stop system that shuts the engine down at idle, such as when stopped at a stop sign, stop light, or stuck in traffic.
Performance

The AT4 features front sill plates and perforated leather-appointed seat trim with an exclusive AT4 logo. The premium Denali adds many upgrades, such as a Bose seven-speaker sound system, wireless charging, and navigation.
